That hands-on experience, built inside the programs these partnerships depend on, translates directly into advisory work grounded in how compliance actually functions day to day.

Anthropologist turned compliance operator. Four years investigating fraud and dissecting transaction patterns at one of the largest payment platforms in the world. Now runs compliance operations for a fintech payment facilitator, managing AML program execution, FinCrimes reporting, KYC/KYB reviews, and sponsor bank oversight. Co-founded an independent consumer safety platform and a 501(c)(3) that built screening standards, incident transparency, and facilitator accountability infrastructure for an unregulated international industry. Designs AI governance and defensibility frameworks for regulated systems. His operating thesis applies equally to fintech and the rest of his work: compliance and harm reduction are the same discipline, both grounded in understanding how systems affect vulnerable people.
